ADHD Therapy in Portland, Oregon & Online Across Oregon

Therapy for ADHD

Does your brain seem to oscillate between overstimulated and understimulated?

Are you sick of getting brushed off by medical providers because you’re an adult, or because you’re not struggling ”enough” in school, or because they gave you medication (or didn’t) and kicked you out the door?

Whether you're newly diagnosed, late-diagnosed, or still trying to get someone to take you seriously, you're in the right place.

Together, we’ll help you better understand your needs, collaboratively identify and advocate for supports, & develop emotional regulation strategies to help you thrive.

ADHD Assessment in Portland, Oregon

Wondering if you have ADHD, or frustrated that no one has taken you seriously yet? I offer comprehensive ADHD testing and evaluation for teens and adults in Portland and via telehealth across Oregon. My approach recognizes how ADHD actually presents across different identities and life experiences, especially women, gender-diverse people, people of color, and others whose ADHD has been missed or dismissed.

  • ADHD diagnostic assessment for adults and teens

  • Evaluation for inattentive, hyperactive, and combined presentations

  • Written report provided for medical, academic, or personal use

Meet your therapist & resident nerd.

Hey! I’m Cassandra Miasnikov, an LGBTQ+ neurodivergent therapist based in Portland, Oregon. I was diagnosed with ADHD & autism as a teen, and I know it’s not easy living in a world that wasn’t built for you.

No one should spend years getting brushed off by providers working from outdated research. I specialize in working with women, gender-diverse people, and people of color whose neurodivergence often doesn't look the way providers expect.

I've also presented clinical research on ADHD in women at universities and conferences across the U.S. and internationally, and written on ADHD for publications including Business Insider.

My approach is collaborative and practical, grounded in ACT, CBT, and DBT. We’ll help you understand your brain, build self-trust, and create systems that work for you.

I offer ADHD therapy in Portland and across Oregon via telehealth.

If you're looking for an ADHD therapist in Portland who actually gets it, you might be a good fit if…

  • You've wondered your whole life why everything feels harder for you than it seems to for everyone else

  • You feel inconsistent in ways that are hard to explain, despite trying for years

  • You were diagnosed late, or suspect ADHD, and have spent years being brushed off

  • You struggle with executive functioning, burnout, shame, or self-trust

  • Traditional productivity advice has never really worked for you

  • You've gotten good at masking or appearing capable while feeling like you're barely keeping up

Looking for ADHD therapy in Portland, Oregon, or across the state? You’re in the right place.

I’m so glad you’re here! Here’s how therapy for ADHD works, including session options, pricing, and how to get started.

  • I provide individual therapy for OCD, ADHD, autism, and related concerns using evidence-based approaches including ERP, ACT, CBT, and DBT-informed care.

Sessions are collaborative, practical, and tailored to your goals; whether that’s reducing compulsions, managing overwhelm, or building a more sustainable relationship with your brain.

I specialize in working with clients who feel “high-functioning” but stuck, as well as those who haven’t seen themselves reflected in traditional therapy models.

    Fee: $200 per 50-minute session

A limited number of sliding-scale spots may be available.

  • Many of us struggle with finding the right words to communicate to our loved ones what we need, when we need it.

Conflict can make many neurodivergent people feel lonely, hopeless, and scared.

It doesn't have to stay that way. We’ll help you and your loved ones find the right communication tools and emotional regulation skills to help you reconnect.

  • I accept the following insurance plans:

    • CareOregon

    • InterCommunity Health Network (IHN)

For clients using insurance, coverage and out-of-pocket costs will depend on your specific plan. I recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm benefits.

For private-pay clients, sessions are $200 per 50-minute session.

If you’re unsure where to start, I’m happy to help you understand your options during a free consultation.
